I became a primary caregiver for my Mother some years back. The experiences with finding a nursing home for some necessary rehabilitation after a hospital stay became the primary inspiration to document choices involved on video.   The original standard definition production of OlderOnes – Choices on Aging remains available on YouTube. 

The general information is truly timeless.  Viewers however should consult local health and legal professionals for specific concerns relative to their own situation.  Pre-planning requires awareness.  Helping viewers become aware of options to make informed decisions was and remains the purpose of these videos.  The Original Cable Program is broken into descriptive segments to make the search for information more efficient in this era of short attention spans.   Viewing the full program is advised for any who remain unsure about taking their first steps on the pre-planning journey.

This site and the videos are maintained as a tribute to all who aided this production which won the excellence award from the Wisconsin WAPC Video Festival.   A special thanks goes to the residents and staff of Honey Creek Health & Rehabilitation who took time to be involved and share their thoughts and experiences. The work itself was and remains dedicated to my now deceased Mother.
